I graduated from OSU with my BFA in '99. Went to NYC, became an appretice, and later company member with the Merce Cunningham Dance Company. Toured North America, South America, Asia, Europe, and Australia over a period of 6 years with the company. Left in 2006 to take an assistant professor position at the Danish National School for Contemporary Dance in Copenhagen, Denmark. I have taught at The Place, London, The Royal Academy of Dance, Iceland Arts Academy, and DansensHus DK. I have also taught professional class for the Iceland Dance Company, The Curve Foundation in Edinburgh, Scotland, and Skånes Dance Theater in Malmö, Sweden. Hoping to tour to Russia this summer as assistant to Swedish choreographer Martin Forsberg, and also pursue a research project on a reconstruction of Johan Inger's 'AS IF' for The Cullberg Ballet in Stockholm, SE. Phew....

Daniel...I do remember you. Ting-Yu is on here. Aside from this site, I don't have contact information but fingers are crossed that she will check and get in touch with us both. Have a great year!
Darling! News! Just got a book proposal accepted - amazing! My friend Rob and I are editing a volume of essays. Neat, huh? No real money in it though - will need to continue to source other funds to keep body and soul well nourished.
Darling! Do I really need more internet distractions in my life? It's easy enough for me to neglect my research. . . Oh, and back to UK for 2 weeks (May 22nd to June 6th). Can you make it over for a visit? Would love to do some serious martini drinking with you and Ann.
You gotta fill in the "bio" part of this blog so we can know what you're up to in Denmark! I'm in NYC for my sabbatical year and am loving it. I run into OSU folks everywhere- in class, at performances, etc. Hope you are well. Balinda
