After graduation, I taught creative dance and ballet at a small school in my hometown. Then I got my master's degree in Arts Administration/Theatre Management from the University of Alabama. I have been working as the advertising manager at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival in Montgomery for the past two years. I have recently been hired as the Marketing Director for the Montgomery Ballet under the direction of Elie Lazar. I'm so, so happy to be back in the dance world. And I'll get to teach modern! I also have a little dog named Max.
More important than the degree were my classmates and professors. There was never another time in my life when I felt so supported and completely at home in a place like I was in Sullivant Hall. I wasn't coddled or spoiled, but given the freedom and encouragement to do what I needed to do. I will always be grateful.
What I can offer students graduating from the program
advice, networking in my area

Hey everyone! I have started a blog. Strange, but true. It's about me trying to be "green" without losing what's left of my sanity and small bank account. If you are interested in reading it let me know, and I will add you to the invite list.
hmm, sounds like a typical NY apartment! But if anyone can make it amazing it is your brother. if you come into town and need a place to stay with a sink, you know you are always more than welcome to stay with us.

Now see, I didn't start with "Battlestar" because I'm nerd enough to have loved the original and so I avoided it. Then everyone was like "Oh. My. Gawd!" Now it's on my "TV on DVD Catch-Up List."
